Novel Biomarkers in Cardiovascular Disease
Investigating emerging biomarkers for early detection of cardiovascular disease in high-risk populations. Successfully identified a panel of three biomarkers with improved predictive value compared to traditional risk assessment methods.
Telehealth Accessibility in Underserved Communities
Developed and implemented a pilot program to improve telehealth access for underserved populations in Fort Worth. Created educational materials and conducted technology training sessions for community members.
Medication Adherence in Geriatric Patients
Conducted a quality improvement project to enhance medication adherence among geriatric patients with multiple chronic conditions. Designed simplified medication schedules and visual aids for patients with cognitive impairments.
